We are seeking to hire three full-time chefs to join our team at Gällnö in the Stockholm Archipelago for the summer 2024. Our summer business has been running for over 10 years and serves a couple of hundred guests per day. We specialize in a largely vegetable-based kitchen, with a cold kitchen for salads, cheeses, charcuteries, and a charcoal BBQ in the garden for preparing meat, vegetables, and occasionally fish. We prioritize using high-quality produce and simple cooking methods.

Working with us is fast-paced and days are long, but the atmosphere is friendly and enjoyable. It is essential that you are able to adapt quickly to our existing routines, working methods, and recipes. We place a strong emphasis on teamwork and mutual respect, and as such, we value patience and a willingness to pass on your knowledge to our younger staff members, many of whom are experiencing their first job.
In addition to a strong background in working with fresh vegetables and high-quality meat, it is important that you enjoy living and socializing with like-minded people. Most of our team is aged 20-35 and lives and works together throughout the summer. We provide accommodation, all meals, and fun staff activities.
